Everything was good, stunning location short walk to Port Elgin beach and the Southampton trolley, restaurants and the Southampton trolley, friendly staff. The cottage was reasonably spacious, included a walk-in shower and fresh towels.

Reasonably spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi is a huge plus! The clean bathroom is absolutely the best.

The Maples Cottages offers a convenient and pleasant location, making it very close to the beach and shops in Port Elgin. My room was well-equipped with an electric kettle, a microwave, and air conditioning, which added to my comfort during the stay.

The cottage was amazing - the best I've ever been to! Just a short walk to the main beach and other beautiful beaches nearby. Everything we needed was provided, from a fully equipped kitchen to cable TV and WiFi. The owners were friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near stores like Walmart and Canadian Tire. This is now my favorite place to stay!

The cottage provided all the necessities for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen. The location was convenient, with nearby stores and amenities within a short distance. The proximity to the beach was a major highlight, with clear and shallow waters perfect for families. the inclusion of a BBQ and fire pit area added to the outdoor experience.

The lack of hooks for hanging towels or clothing in the washroom and bedrooms was inconvenient. It would have been helpful to have a shelf in the washroom for toiletries while showering.

Our stay was truly enjoyable. Firstly, the cottage was spotless and decorated with a modern touch. Additionally, the kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. To top it all, the location was superb. We were only a short distance from the town center, where there were many amenities available to us. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the owner, who was always available and accommodating.

Despite the many positives, there were a few minor issues we had with the cottage. Firstly, it would have been more convenient to have more hooks available in the washroom and bedrooms to hang towels or clothing. We also found it would have been useful to have additional shelving in the washroom for toiletries while showering. Despite these small issues, our overall experience was fantastic and we would definitely recommend this location to others.

the location was perfect, just a block away from the beach. the cottage itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary kitchen supplies in excellent condition. I loved that they provided cable TV for entertainment, and the BBQ made it easy to prepare meals. the fire pit and wood provided allowed us to make bonfires, which was a fantastic addition. Paul, the host, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I will definitely book here again in the future. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 🌟.
